Cultural change is needed to prevent certain individuals holding back technology to preserve the status quo in their organisation. That’s according to the latest campaign we launched with 8×8, provider of the world’s first Communications Cloud, which explored the views of over 1,000 staff working in local government.
The study concluded that only 51% believe senior management understand the importance of new technology and just 21% think they invest enough money to stay up to date with the latest developments.
With more than 80% of staff agreeing that technology has a positive impact on their organisation, 8×8 is supporting the public sector to change attitudes internally and ensure residents don’t miss out on improved and streamlined services.
