Our client, video advertising company Teads, recently announced the launch of the world’s first video ad chatbot in partnership with Tommy Hilfiger. Capella has been working with Teads since 2014 and the team loved helping to unveil such an interesting and innovative product.
Teads is the first company to integrate a chatbot within outstream video ad formats and global fashion brand Tommy Hilfiger is the first brand to use the technology. The chatbot encourages users to engage directly over the on-screen action with a time-sensitive greeting overlaid upon the video. To purchase products suggested by the chatbot customers are transferred to tommy.com where the items will have already been placed in their basket.
After packaging up the story around the partnership, Capella outreached to our contacts in key trade media and achieved some fantastic results. The innovative work of Teads and Tommy Hilfiger was reported on in many publications which included tier one trade media such as Marketing Week, The Drum and Campaign.
