To celebrate another successful year at Capella, yesterday we headed to Windsor for our annual off-site.
As well as reflecting on the past twelve months, the aim of the day was to get out of the city and learn new skills as a team. Our morning began with a kitchen masterclass from Claude, the Chef-Patron at Tummies cookery school. Tasked with completing a three-course meal, the Capella team rose to the challenge. We chopped, mixed and glazed to create a warm goat cheese tartlet with caramelised red onion and sweet peppers followed by a homemade raspberry crème brulée. We had a little help with our mains which were expertly prepared by the kitchen.
After sitting down to enjoy a beautiful meal consisting of the culinary delights that we had spent the morning preparing , we were then whisked around the historic city by Windsor Duck Tours. Across land and over the Thames, we got up close and personal with everything the beautiful city has to offer, including the Castle, a few local establishments, and her Majesty’s Windsor Castle.
It was the perfect way to relax and take stock as a team after an amazing year. We’re delighted to have been able to work with such an exciting collection of brands across a variety of sectors, often pulling off our most ambitious work to date.
