Our client ClearScore – the first and only free credit score and report service – is on a mission to help Brits become better money managers.
Our job is to encourage people to care about their credit scores and inspire them to take better control of their finances at ClearScore.
Confident in the knowledge that deep down, everyone is just a little nosy, we worked with ClearScore to develop an interactive map made up of 10 million people’s credit scores from across the UK. The map shows you what the average credit score is in your postcode area so you can check out how you compare to your neighbours.
The campaign went down a storm, generating nine national hits, including BBC online and Daily Mail (the world’s largest online publication) and CEO and founder Justin Basini was interviewed for two regional radio stations.
The BBC story trended as the most read story on the BBC app on Saturday and was read by 477,000 people alone on that day alone. It was also the most read business story across the whole of the BBC news site across the weekend.
The MailOnline piece received more than 360 comments and over 100 Facebook shares – an exceptionally high level of engagement.
Creating truly integrated campaigns is what we’re all about, so we were particularly pleased that 82% of all online articles embedded/linked to the interactive map we created.
